Classic is a private full-day wine tour in the Douro Valley for 2 to 8 guests, from €250 per person. We pick you up at your hotel within 25 km of Pinhão and Alijó, visit Quinta da Foz Tua, an olive oil mill and Quinta da Levandeira, have lunch in Alijó and finish with a boat on the river. About 9:00 to 18:00.
Questions about the Classic
What language is the day in?
English or Portuguese. Tell us when you book which one you prefer.
Can we come from Porto for the day?
Yes. The 7:30 train from Porto Campanhã reaches Tua at 10:06, every day, and we pick you up at the station. We drop you back in time for the 18:10 train, which arrives in Campanhã at 20:30.
Can we bring children?
Yes. Children pay €40 (boat and lunch). They are not served alcohol, and there is very little walking.
What if the weather is bad?
The tastings and lunch go ahead. If the boat is cancelled because of weather or river conditions, we refund its value: €15 per person.
