Who’s pouring
We’re Gonçalo and David, and we host the tastings ourselves. No scripts, and no handing you from guide to guide.
Gonçalo has lived around Alijó for 25 years. David came up from Lisbon five years ago, fell for the valley and stayed. Between glasses you’ll hear about the villages, the harvest and the people who still work these terraces by hand.

Coming from Porto anyway? Take the 7:30 train and we meet you at Tua station at 10:06.
How a private day works
Same route for every level. Coming from Porto? The 7:30 train from Campanhã (daily) reaches Tua at 10:06, and we meet you at the station.

Before you book
Is it really just our group?
The car, the host and the plan are yours alone, 2 to 8 guests. The estates welcome other visitors too, so now and then you may share a tasting room. On the Classic the boat is shared; on the Signature it is private. Single tastings may be shared with other guests.
Where do you pick us up?
At your accommodation within 25 km of Pinhão and Alijó (Régua and Vila Real included), or at Tua station. Check your hotel on the pickup map.
Can we bring children?
Yes. Children are €40 on any private day (boat and lunch). We have child seats, and at the tastings they get grape juice. There is very little walking.
What if we need to cancel?
Private days: free cancellation up to 5 days before. Single tastings: up to 24 hours before.
